His particular areas of expertise include helping clients (ages 10-adult) who experience anxiety and depression as well those who struggle with trauma, building healthy relationships and phase of life problems. Has been a mental health counselor for at least 25 years.  Her goal is to provide a Christian, faith-based therapeutic approach in which her Catholic clients can address their emotional and psychological difficulties along with working towards making changes needed to improve their lives. She specializes in relationship issues, family conflicts and a variety of issues with individual adults, the elderly and families.

Clinical Therapist with over 10 years of experience working with individuals, children & families who are struggling with a variety of emotional issues.  Some of these include, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief and loss, as well as relationship concerns. I have a person-centered, trauma-informed approach, guided by Christian 

principles.  My foundational belief is that we are all created in the beautiful image of God, but this image is often tarnished by difficult life circumstances and relationships.  I believe the Lord is longing to heal our hearts, and restore His image in each one of us.

Matthew Scheuer

 LMSW

Chief Operations Officer of EHS Health Solutions, LLC. Matt served 13 years in the United States Army Reserve and Army National Guard as a Medical Service Corps officer. He has held various levels of leadership in military healthcare, served two combat tours in Afghanistan, and achieved the rank of Captain.
Matt has served in numerous direct care and leadership roles serving diverse populations across Central and Western New York. While pursuing his graduate degree, he served as a regional supervisor and management consultant, overseeing substance abuse and suicide prevention programs for the Army National Guard.
In addition to numerous leadership positions, Matt is currently licensed as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York State. Matt’s multiple areas of expertise include cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention and solution-based treatment approaches for clients with a multitude of psychological disorders and complex situations.
Matt is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and a Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  Matt obtained his Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University and Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Niagara University, New York.
